Is the product made of PPS fiber easy to burn?

PPS fiber has good chemical stability. It can still maintain its original performance under extremely bad conditions. It has excellent chemical stability, second only to polytetrafluoroethylene fiber.

1. At high temperature, the original tensile strength can be maintained after being placed in different inorganic reagents for one week.

2. It has good resistance to organic reagents. Except that toluene at 93 ℃ has a slight effect on its strength, its strength will not change in organic solvents such as carbon tetrachloride and chloroform even after rotating for one week at the boiling point, and formic acid and acetic acid at 93 ℃ have no effect on its strength.

3. The nonwoven filter fabric made of PPS fiber has good corrosion resistance in 50% sulfuric acid at 93 ℃, and has no significant effect on the strength retention.

4. There was no significant change in strength after being placed in sodium hydroxide solution at 93 ℃ for 2 weeks.

PPS fiber processed products are difficult to burn, and can meet UL-94V-0 standard without adding flame retardant. When placed in the flame, although it will burn, it will not drip, and it will be far away from the fire. When burning, it shows orange yellow flame and generates a trace of black soot. The smoke generation rate is lower than that of halogenated polymers. The combustibles do not fall off and form residual coke, showing low smoke density and good flame retardancy.
